When contacting your member or congress or senator, remember these important guidelines.
1) Never contact a member of congress while on government time.
2) Never contact a member of congress using government equipment, including computers, phones or phone lines, fax machines, mail system, etc. Do not use your government computer, Internet connection or email address to contact congress.
3) Do contact congress using your own personal phone, computer, Internet connection, e-mail account or fax machine.
